Cabo sandy beach with two boats.jpg

My Story

Have you ever been sitting on a beach, gazing at the ocean with the sun on your face and toes in the sand saying, “I want to live here?”

That’s exactly what I did! You can guess why my friends and family call me: a doer with tenacious intentions, always imagining it will turn our better than expected.

I grew up naïve and wholesome in a northern Canadian city. In the Summer of 1993, I dragged my three children from our home to sunny Cabo San Lucas for a one-year escapade. Little did I know that the Cabo lifestyle would capture my soul and it would become my home for the next two decades. More importantly, Cabo would be the setting of my transformational adventure through self-love, forgiveness, and lifestyle attraction. Fast forward a few decades and I am proud to have a 20-year career as a Realtor. This has allowed me to experience firsthand what happens to real estate values when the outside world discovers the untouched beauty of the small ocean side village in Los Cabos. I then saw the coastline develop with world-class golf courses, luxury resorts, and privately gated communities.

Fun Fact: Expat (Expatriot) definition: a person who lives outside their native Country.

One Million US citizens live in Mexico as expats and 125,000 Canadian expats live in Mexico.

I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. For over 27 years I scribbled in my daily journals which allowed me the freedom to detail my darkest feelings and celebrations of personal growth. In a world of sunshine, falling stars, whales, and the sounds of waves crashing along the beach- it was easy to write about Cabo during the early 90’s. I fell in love with the magnificent full moon rising from the Sea of Cortez, the pink sunrises, orange sunsets, and everything this paradise had to offer.

Go BIG or don’t do it.

M o t i v a t o r

I’m proud to say (or write) that I have a blackbelt in codependent recovery. I use this to inspire other women to find their way through the negative self-talk and towards the lifestyle they’ve always dreamed of!

Like many women my age I have experienced pain, loss, insecurity, and negative self-talk. The kind you don’t tell your friends over coffee or admit to anyone out loud. But what if you let go of the shame, guilt, and expectations? What if you found your voice and let go of all excuses? I’m dedicated to bringing women together with a shared vision on how to live BIG and free of all that stops you. What can I say? I’m a JUMP IN first ... then look back kind of gal.
