DID YOU KNOW:

Centro Mujeres is the least known yet most important of all the charity foundations here in the southern Baja.

The two founders, Teresa and Monica, are both inspirational pioneer women fighting daily for basic human rights. The 'behind the scenes' lobbying with countless hours and years and frustrations changing the laws here in Baja California so children and women live free of domestic violence and sexual abuse resulted in a big Victory ONLY a few short years ago – new laws were introduced stating it is a crime to beat a child or your wife! THANK YOU Centro Mujeres.

We are now looking for Celebrity Endorsement to help bring the much needed awareness and funds needed.

If you are a celebrity or influencer: we need you!

The list is a long one of critically important Human Rights projects that are now underway.   Centro Mujeres needs your help to create and change the laws to support our children, our poor and families.   Here are a few of the years projects ...

1. Pro-Choice advocacy – currently young women who abort can face up to 20 years in prison!
2. Little Ones – sexual abuse prevention program targets 4 – 6 year olds – Lobby schools to train Teachers and Parents.
3. Human Rights of poor migrant communities (imagine the worst disturbing living and working conditions).
4. Youth Leadership programs throughout Los Cabos - sexual health protection measures, goals to reduce teen pregnancy and teach self confidence to be pro-active AND lead by example. (THIS is working!)
5. Free medical clinic open for children and women.
6. Free condoms.
